This is the final version of my triptych. As the theme for this brief was “Lost and Found”, I decided to use objects that commonly get lost. My theme of jewellery meant I could have three different objects that were all connected. My main inspiration for this triptych was the work done by Irving Penn as I liked how he made the backgrounds of his images very busy but manged to not take the attention away from the main object. For the final three objects, I chose a ring, a necklace and an earring. I tested out these objects on many different backdrops which varied in material, colour and size but in the end, I decided to make my triptych interesting by using a deck of cards scattered around for the background. I was happy with how these images turned out as I feel like the images flow well and it is obvious that they are all connected. If I was to recreate these photographs, I would use a different necklace that looked similar to the other two items to look as if they match and are part of a set.
